WazirX Integrates AI Co-Pilot to Automate Crypto Research and Order Execution

WazirX has rolled out "WazirX AI," a conversational co-pilot integrated into its app and website that compresses market research, portfolio monitoring and order preparation into a single thread, according to a company announcement covered by SMEStreet.

WazirX Integrates AI Co-Pilot to Automate Crypto Research and Order Execution

WazirX AI Lands: A Conversational Layer Over INR Futures Execution

For systematic and copy-trading operators on the platform, the release introduces a new execution surface sitting between signal generation and order routing — one that handles technical screens, position-sizing logic and pre-trade order construction natively inside a chat interface.

What the co-pilot actually executes

The assistant runs on an "Ask-Understand-Decide" workflow. A user can, in one conversation, ask the agent to screen INR futures for four-hour momentum, filter the shortlist by a stated risk-reward threshold, validate candidates across additional timeframes and receive a prepopulated order sheet containing entry price, leverage, margin, stop-loss, take-profit and estimated loss. Spot and futures are both supported, with limit and market orders, short setups and pair-specific maximum leverage available within the same session. Price feeds draw on live WazirX market data with instant refresh.

Position sizing is driven by the user's stated risk preferences — the co-pilot pulls live portfolio state before recommending size, which means drawdown sensitivity is configurable per session rather than hard-coded into the strategy. The system also runs passive monitoring: it watches user-defined conditions and only pings when a threshold is breached, rather than streaming continuous alerts.

Paper sandbox and rollout scope

Every account receives a Paper Trading Sandbox seeded with US$100,000 in simulated balance, open to all users across Android, iOS and web. The sandbox mirrors the full research-to-trade pipeline, letting traders stress-test the co-pilot's screening logic and order-construction output before committing capital. The company states the end-to-end workflow — from opportunity identification to a ready-to-sign order — completes in under 10 minutes, a figure that will need independent benchmarking against manual baselines.

What to verify before wiring it into a strategy

For copy-trading and signal-provider workflows running on WazirX, three checkpoints matter:

  • Order fidelity. The prepopulated order sheet lists entry, leverage, margin, SL/TP and estimated loss. Confirm that live execution matches those values tick-for-tick; a conversational layer adds an extra serialization step that can drift versus direct API calls.
  • Latency profile. Refresh is described as "instant" rather than time-stamped. Measure the interval between a signal trigger and the populated order on the sandbox before assuming parity with manual charting workflows.
  • Sandbox realism. The $100K simulated balance removes slippage and liquidity constraints. Re-run any momentum screen under realistic fee and partial-fill assumptions before promoting the logic to live capital.

WazirX founder Nischal Shetty positioned the launch as a fix for the time traders lose shuttling between charts, news feeds and execution screens — a real bottleneck to target, but one whose payoff depends entirely on how cleanly the conversational layer hands off to the matching engine.
